We call it the Acrylic Planter Kit. There are four clear acrylic sides and one acrylic base in the kit. For this example, I covered the back side of the acrylic with patterned paper and tied the four sides together with May Arts ribbon in blue and white. It doesn't show up too well but the stamped sentiment reads "Thanks for always being there!" It is a quick, easy project!

CHA!

We made it to Anaheim! Today the trade show opens up! I can hardly wait. Yesterday was great as we spent it taking classes. I think my favorite was Ranger's Jewlery making class. Suze Weinberg and Robin Beam did a wonderful job in teaching. They showed how to use the melting pot and UTEE to create some really stunning pieces of jewelry. I'll definitely be dusting off the ol' melting pot!

The next class for me was on a subject near and dear to my heart - clear acrylic albums! Design Originals debut their new book on the subject - Clearly Classy. It is full of ideas and tips for creating beautiful albums. I discovered some new products that work really well on the acrylic as well as some great ideas that help in laying out the album and keeping it all pulled together.

The last class was geared towards store owners and while it was very informative for me, it probably wouldn't be as interesting for our readers.

My associate took two classes sponsered by Melissa Frances and created some very cute projects. They have introduced a new line of clear stamps that are adorable as well as a new baby line. Her final class was with Dee Gruening using her line of stamps and the blending box. There were a couple of interesting tips that we will post here later.

Today we each have one classs - one by Magenta and one by Dove of the East. I'm not sure 7:00 in the morning is my best time to stamp but at least there is a Starbucks handy! After that - we finally get to go see all the latest and greatest products! Yeah!!

I'll be posting more tonight!
